Each year, the Louisville Pro SPJ Chapter gathers to honor the best work in journalism in Louisville. This year, we’ve set our annual awards dinner, which includes a buffet dinner, for June 28 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Bristol Bar & Grille Downtown, 614 W Main St. A vegetarian option will be provided for guests who require it.

We’ll be giving out awards to students and professionals alike in a variety of categories that include print, online and broadcast.

You can enjoy a dinner with us and a cash bar as part of your ticket price.

We are REQUIRED to cut off dinner reservations 10 days prior to the event. Our deadline to purchase tickets will be 3 p.m., Monday, June 18.

Cash bar will be available. Registration and the cash bar opens at 6 p.m., with dinner being served at 6:45 p.m. and the awards presented at about 7:30 p.m. The event should conclude by 9 p.m.

If you’re purchasing tickets, please note that individuals, not organizations, are members of SPJ. This year, we’re offering tables of eight for the price of eight seats at the member price – $320. This is a great deal and easier for organizations. Individuals may buy tickets at the member or non-member price of $45 per person. A membership number is required to receive the individual member price of $40 per person.
